This study dealt with the administrative units of Atlanta University, especially its division into schools and departments as it relates to allocating student financial aid. A knowledge of the existing units with their variations and inconsistencies provides a groundwork for a more rational approach for the organization of these units.An ineffective communication system and the lack of financial resources were contributing factors that adversely affected the effectiveness and efficiency of the financial aid program.
