The overall objective of this study was to examine healthcare workers knowledge, attitudes and values toward HIV/AIDS, and to assess what effects these variables may have on healthcare workers willingness to provide care and services for this population. In order to achieve this objective, an original thirty-eight item questionnaire was designed and administered to fifty social workers, physicians, nurses, counselors and case managers. All of whom were employed at one of two treatment facilities, involved in the care of HIV/AIDS patients in the Atlanta area.
