This study was designed to ascertain the attitudes of teachers toward the use of manipulatives in an elementary school in Georgia. The researcher used twenty-four (24) teachers who teach elementary school mathematics. A survey was designed and administered for the collection of data. The results of the study indicated that all the teachers had a positive attitude about using manipulatives in their programs. They felt that teaching with manipulatives improves students' comprehension and knowledge of mathematics
