This was an exploratory/descriptive study to explore the relationship of knowledge, attitudes and sexual behaviors among African American high school students regarding AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). Thirty students from Port Gibson High School, located in Port Gibson, ms were surveyed to determine levels of knowledge of AIDS, sexual attitudes, and sexual behaviors. Attitude and knowledge are necessary to identify specific consequences following the behavior. A descriptive and exploratory design was used in this study.
