The overall purpose of this research was to evaluate the progress of the residents who were living in a group home for the mentally ill located in the Fulton County area of Atlanta, Georgia. The study focused on evaluating residents functioning in daily activities, the extent to which they function in the group home and perform routine assignments by the use of an Individual Progress Rating Scale. Scores were obtained from March 19, through April 15, 1990 and from December 17, 1990 through January 13, 1991. The composite scores were used for the analysis of the data.
