Wind power has been already used in Finland for a long time even though its share of power production is small compare to both nuclear power and oil fossil fuel. Use of wind power increases every year and so does its share of power production. Finland's long coast makes possible to build wind turbines in sea where wind conditions are better than at land. As wind turbines are built in sea economic cost and financial risk increase. A good modelling in design gives opportune to optimize life cycle, structures and maintaining cost.
