Information system development has, over the last decades, become a highly global business. Working across geographical and cultural boundaries requires careful management. The objective of this thesis was to identify central factors involved in knowledge sharing between onsite and offshore offices of a system development project, and to assess how different tools are used in transferring knowledge.
