Ultra-barrier thin films are one of the highest interests in the field of material science. Barrier films of different performance are needed in the applications, in which the protection against the environmental gases, oxygen and water vapour are demanded, in example photovoltaic cells or organic light emitting diodes. In this thesis a standard operation procedure (SOP) for water vapour transmission ratio (WVTR) measurement is presented to be used as moisture barrier characterization tool for Beneq Oy.
