Dynamic web pages are more functional and usable than static web pages containing only text and images. The existence of different techniques (web techniques, web frameworks, and different ways to access the database) is required for the creation of dynamic web pages. Different alternatives for the creation of a dynamic web page are presented, together with guidelines for the decision of which technique suits the purpose the best.
