This Master's thesis studies steam reheats with biomass power plants. The primary research objective is to support the development of a reheat biomass power boiler concept. The topic is approached with a broad perspective ranging from theoretical thermodynamic analysis to practical detailed boiler design. Combining biomass power generation and reheat is a relatively new field of study. Only a small number of reference bio power plants with reheat exist, and the scientific literature provides little related information on the subject. The work consists of two parts.
