Peers have enormous influence on human behavior in everyday life, triggering mechanisms of imitation that might end up converging in either conducts or opinions about whatever circumstance. Scenarios of crisis might even strengthen this process of social leverage and the emergency context triggered by the worldwide diffusion of COVID-19 is emblematic in this sense: the current research purpose is to capture to what extent individual choices of mobility have been affected by others' decisions about the same issue, during COVID-19 epidemic. We have conducted the analysis on the Italian scenario, at the provincial scale of aggregation, which is the smallest one according to data availability
