A precise coulonometric titration method to precisely determine gold(III) using both electrogenerated Cu(I) chloride complex KCl-Cu-EDTA in buffer medium and potentiometric fixation of equivalent titration point. The method makes it possible to perform the analysis of small quantities of Au (0,5-2mg) with the precision of 0,1%. The coulonometric analysis may be applied in the precise analysis in order to determine the quantity of Au in gold alloys and jewelry.
