This master's thesis deals with a research carried out with high school students, from a state public school, in an exploratory study and during the development of didactic interventions in a Case Study treated in Chemistry classes. The work refers to the contextualization of school chemistry knowledge to the theme food / food, relating the eating habits, health and ways of life of young students who attend school.
