Repercussions on the practice of educating for heritage: Cultural Itinerary and Heritage Day in Pelotas.

In Brazil, the term Historical Heritage has grown in the last century, moving from the concept of monumental heritage to the concept of cultural heritage. This concept was expanded from art. Number 216 of the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988, inserting to the term all forms of creating, making and living as cultural expressions. Mário de Andrade had already proposed this extension of the term in 1936 and he has included among the patrimonial goods, the immaterial goods, festivals, cults, traditions and ways of doing. However, this concept was ahead of its time. This study seeks to address the modifications of the concepts of Heritage, Memory, Culture and Training for Heritage in Brazil and in the world, entering into the way of how the terms are approached and worked on in the city of Pelotas. Over the past few years, several educational actions have been carried out in favor of preservation; this research focuses on two of them that took place in the city of Pelotas. One of them being the Cultural route held in the 90s and the other was the celebration of Heritage Day that has been taking place annually in the city since 2013. Through the application of interviews and questionnaires, it was sought to understand how these actions occurred and through the responses of a group of children and adults, who participated in the Heritage Day event, understand how the event has been experienced. Although the experiences of education for heritage have been emphasized since the 1990s in Pelotas, it is observed that current experiences have a more focused attention to immaterial heritage in its various expressions.Sem bolsaNo Brasil, o termo Patrimônio Histórico cresceu no último século, passando do conceito de patrimônio monumental para o de patrimônio cultural. Este conceito foi ampliado a partir do art. nº 216 da Constituição Federal de 1988, inserindo ao termo todas as formas de criar, fazer e viver como expressões culturais. Essa ampliação do termo já havia sido proposta por Mário de Andrade em 1936 e incluía dentre os bens patrimoniais, os bens imateriais, festas, cultos, tradições e modos de fazer. Porém esse conceito estava à frente de seu tempo. Este trabalho aborda as modificações dos conceitos de Patrimônio, Memória, Cultura e Educação para o Patrimônio no Brasil e no mundo, adentrando na forma como os termos são abordados e trabalhados na cidade de Pelotas. Ao longo dos últimos anos, têm sido realizadas diversas ações educativas a favor da preservação, está pesquisa debruça-se sobre duas delas ocorridas na cidade de Pelotas. Sendo uma delas o roteiro Cultural realizado nos anos 90 e a outra a celebração do Dia do Patrimônio que vem ocorrendo anualmente na cidade desde de 2013. Com a aplicação de entrevistas e questionários, buscou-se entender como essas ações ocorreram e através das respostas de um grupo de crianças e adultos, que participaram do evento do Dia do Patrimônio, entender como o evento tem sido experenciado. Apesar das experiências de educação para o patrimônio terem sido enfatizadas desde os anos 1990 em Pelotas, observam-se que as experiências atuais tem uma atenção mais voltada ao patrimônio imaterial nas suas diversas expressões
