Introduction and Aim: Hemorrhagic transformation (HT) frequently occurs after acute ischemic stroke and negatively influences the functional outcome. Usually, HT is classified by its radiological appearance. Discriminating between the subtypes can be complicated, and interobserver variation is considerable.
