In Finland, the real estate funds are a fairly new form of investment. Real estate development has traditionally been a persistent work, while the real estate funds have had relatively short life-cycles and investment periods. This temporal conflict creates a need for the partnership-based real estate development. The possible changes in the fund structures bring their own challenges into the partnership-based development.
