Imaging of the electromagnetic fields of the brain is turning to a new phase: in addition to individual sources one is able to investigate the connections between different brain areas. The research helps to understand in what kind of temporal continuum the information processing occurs -on the one hand in a healthy human brain and, on the other hand, in a disordered one.
