The objective of the study is to examine leakage of fluid power systems in paper machines, find out their reasons and solve the problems. By nature, the study is preliminary. The thesis begins after the introduction chapter by outlining the nature and scope of leakage investigated here. The literature search is mainly focused on piping, tubing hose and fitting sealing methods. Four reputable manufacturers and their main products are introduced, too.
