The international conference Traffic Safety on Three Continents in Moscow,19-\u9621 September 2001, was organised jointly by the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI), the State Scientific and Research Institute of Motor Transport in Moscow (NIIAT), U.S. Transportation Research Board (TRB), the South African Council for Scientific Industrial Research (CSIR), South Africa, and Forum of European Road Safety Research Institutes (FERSI).
