In rice production, seedling quality and transplanting potentials stand as a prerequisite for proper completion of rice production for optimum yield. The overall objective of this research was to develop a transplanting implement capable of placing rice seedling singly into the field by dropping with respect to SRI planting conditions. It is aimed at using seedlings established from SRI-tray designed with adjustable spacing options of within and between rows of 25 cm, 30 cm and 40 cm leading to nine SRI spacing options to suite SRI practitioners’ preference.
