Applying cross-curricular approaches creatively

This book uses fragments of autobiography and aspects of current research in neuroscience, psychology and pedagogy to argue for more and more well-planned cross-curricular approaches in primary education. It uses Barnes' (2015) taxonomy of cross-curricular approaches to support teachers and curriculum designers in generating engaging and creative learning in the classroom. It explores the relevance and effectiveness of cross-disciplinary and project-based teaching.
