A educação física na perspectiva de estudantes ingressantes no curso de graduação em educação física em uma instituição pública de ensino de Uberlândia-MG

The concern with academic training in the field of Physical Education has become an object of study over the years. The conception of the field of action that the student brings from his/her experiences and conceptual frameworks, will interfere during the entire undergraduate program, reflecting on his/her education and professional future. This study aimed to analyze the concept of Physical Education from the perspective of students entering the Physical Education Undergraduate Program at a public educational institution in Uberlândia-MG, in the first and second semesters of 2019. The methodology was based on the qualitative analysis of the contents, using a questionnaire as an instrument, which presented open and objective questions. The software Interface de R pour les Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires (Iramuteq) was used for textual analysis of the answers. The results obtained allow understanding that new students are unaware of the concept and importance of Physical Education. New students support the discourse that Physical Education is responsible for keeping people healthy. Another aspect highlighted is that some students enrolled in the teacher training program intend to complete all the requirements in order to archieve a Bachelor's Degree, and the majority of those entering the undergraduate program have chosen to earn a Bachelor’s Degree because they do not intend to teach in schools. The purpose of this study is to support a future reformulation and curriculum improvement in Physical Education courses, thus contemplating the aspirations of the new students.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)A preocupação com a formação acadêmica no âmbito da Educação Física tornou-se objeto de estudo ao longo dos anos. Consideramos que a concepção do campo de atuação que o/a estudante traz a partir de suas vivências e arcabouços conceituais, interferirá durante toda a graduação refletindo na sua formação e no seu futuro profissional. Este trabalho objetivou analisar a concepção de Educação Física na perspectiva de estudantes ingressantes do Curso de Graduação em Educação Física em uma instituição pública de ensino de Uberlândia-MG, no primeiro e segundo semestre do ano de 2019. A metodologia baseou-se na análise qualitativa dos conteúdos, utilizando um questionário como instrumento, o qual apresentou perguntas abertas e objetivas. Utilizamos o software Interface de R pour les Analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires (Iramuteq) para análise textual das respostas. Os resultados obtidos permitem compreender que os/as ingressantes desconhecem o conceito e a importância da Educação Física. Eles/as sustentam o discurso de que a Educação Física é responsável por manter as pessoas saudáveis. Outro aspecto evidenciado são alguns/mas estudantes matriculados/as na Licenciatura pretenderem cursar o Bacharelado, e a maioria dos/as ingressantes do Bacharelado optaram por este curso por não pretenderem o exercício profissional em escolas. A finalidade deste estudo é subsidiar futura reformulação e melhoria curricular nos cursos de Educação Física, contemplando assim os anseios dos ingressantes
