Mišraus mokymosi būdo taikymas per anglų kalbos pamokas

The aim of the present study is to present the concept of blended and distance learning, to survey the historical development of blended learning, to research the technologies that are applied in EFL classes, to analyse the syllabus of the ninth form and to explore the possible technologies and their applicability in the English language learning in the schools of Lithuania. As many teaching methods that were used for quite a long time in the learning process became less interesting, engaging and motivating, teachers constantly look for the ways how to vary the learning process, make it more effective and to enhance learners’ motivation. In order to achieve good teaching results, the teachers must take an interest in up-to-date technologies and their applicability possibilities in the teaching subject. In the modern world of technologies there are many blended learning methods that can be incorporated in the traditional learning. The methods are chosen considering the possibilities of the teachers and their learners. The theoretical part of this research presents the definitions of distance and blended learning and describes their importance in the learning process. Subsequently, the historical development of blended learning is briefly surveyed and the methods of blended learning that can be incorporated into the language learning are analysed. The timeline and the structure of blended learning are included in the theoretical part. The following hypothesis was formed: The traditional syllabus of EFL classes is successfully supplemented by methods of blended learning. The practical part of this qualitative research tries to indicate the blended learning methods that can be applied in the syllabus of the ninth form. In the research it is analysed what kind of activities the methods can be applied to. It has been stated that the blended learning methods, such as blogging, podcasting, electronic dictionaries and moodling, can be incorporated into the traditional syllabus.Šio darbo tikslas – pateikti mišraus ir nuotolinio mokymosi sąvokas, apžvelgti istorinį mišriojo mokymo vystymąsi, analizuoti šio mokymo metodus taikytinus anglų kalbos pamokose. Taip pat išanalizuoti devintos klasės teminį planą ir išsiaiškinti mišraus mokymosi būdo technologijų pritaikymo galimybes anglų kalbos pamokose. Kadangi tradicinio kalbos mokymo metodai dažnai būna menkai veiksmingi, mokytojai nuolat ieško būdų kaip paįvairinti mokymosi procesą, padaryti jį efektyvesnį ir sustiprinti mokinių motyvaciją. Siekdami gerų mokymo rezultatų, mokytojai privalo nuolat domėtis šiuolaikinėmis technologijomis ir jų metodų pritaikymo galimybėmis savo dalyko mokyme. Šiuolaikiniame technologijų pasaulyje yra daug mišraus mokymosi būdo technologijų, kurios gali būti pritaikytos mokymo procese. Kiekvienas mokytojas pagal savo ir mokinių galimybes pasirenka, kurias iš jų naudoti. Šio darbo teorinė dalis pristato mišriojo ir nuotolinio mokymosi sąvokas ir apibūdina jų svarbą mokymosi procese. Vėliau trumpai apžvelgiamas mišraus mokymosi istorijos kelias iki šių dienų. Analizuojami mišriojo mokymosi būdo metodai, kuriuos galima pritaikyti mokant anglų kalbos Lietuvos mokyklose. Pateikiamos lentelės vaizduojančios mišriojo mokymosi istorijos vystymąsi. Iškelta hipotezė: Mišraus mokymosi būdo metodai sėkmingai pritaikomi užsienio kalbos mokyme. Kokybinio darbo praktinėje dalyje stengiamasi parodyti, kaip mišraus mokymo būdai gali būti pritaikyti devintos klasės teminiame plane. Kokybinio tyrimo metu buvo analizuojama, kokioms užduotims atlikti gali būti naudojami šie metodai. Praktinėje dalyje pateikiamos ekrano nuotraukos su programų atvaizdais, kurie leidžia pamatyti naudojamų programų pritaikymą. Paaiškėjo jog tradicinį mokymą gali puikiai papildyti šie mišriojo mokymo būdo metodai: blogai, podkastingas, elektroniniai žodynai, elektroninis paštas ir virtuali klasė.
