ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI STRUKTUR MODAL PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

ABSTRACTThe research examines the effect of firm size, profitability, non debt tax shield and growth on capital structure. The sample of this research was taken from manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange at 2014-2017. The sample was taken using purposive sampling. The sample used was 35 companies then resulting 140 observation data . In order to test the hypothesis the statistical methods used was multiple linear regression analysis.Partially the result of this research shows that firm size and growth have positive and significant influence on capital structure, where as profitability and non-debt tax shield have negative and significant influence on capital structure. Meanwhile in the simultaneous test, the five independent variables are seen to have significant influences to the capital structure.Keywords: Capital structure, firm size, profitability, non debt tax shield and growth.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, non debt tax shield dan pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap struktur modal. Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2014-2017. Sampel diambil dengan metode purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 35 perusahaan sehingga diperoleh 140 data observasi . Metode statistik menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda untuk menguji hipotesis.Secara parsial, analisis berdasarkan penggunaan semua variabel independen dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan. berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal, sedangkan profitabilitas dan non debt tax shield berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Pengujian secara simultan menunjukkan kelima variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal.Kata Kunci: Struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, non debt tax shield dan pertumbuhan perusahaan
