The role of F.-S. Laharpe in education of Alexander I and preparation of reforms for modernization of conservative bases of the Russian empire

The article considers one of the debatable topics historical science about role of the wellknown Swiss lawyer Frederik-Cesar Laharpe in the upbringing and polit-ical education of Emperor Alexander I. The novelty of the research is manifested in fact that in article on the basis of the recently published threevolume edition of the correspondence of Laharpe and Alexander Pavlovich little-known peculiarities of the educational process are considered, the influence of F.-S. Laharpe is analyzed on the formation of the young Emperor's reform plans and projects of early reforms of the Secret Committee.В статье рассматривается одна из дискуссионных тем исторической науки о роли известного швейцарского адвоката Фредерика-Сезара Лагарпа в воспитании и политическом образовании императора Александра I. Новизна исследования проявляется в том, что на основе недавно изданного трехтомного издания переписки Лагарпа и Александра Павловича рассматриваются малоизвестные особенности воспитательного процесса, анализируется влияние Ф-С. Лагарпа на формирование преобразовательных планов молодого императора и проектов ранних реформ Негласного комитета
