The interpretation of cerebral palsy (CP) is closely linked to points of view that are no longer acceptable: 1) the idea that it is primarily a motor problem (posture and movement disorder); 2) the idea that it is only a central (cerebral) pathology; 3) the idea that it is a non-progressive disease (fixed encephalopathy).
