This project was focused in studying the mechanical and physico-chemical behavior of biobased composite materials in an in-situ monitoring context for the repair of civil engineering infrastructure. In this project, the choice was to move towards the use of piezoelectric sensors for monitoring, also called Structural Health Monitoring. The work was also interested in the analysis of the influence of humidity on the properties of bio-based composites and how to reduce this influence in order to be able to validate the effectiveness of these materials for the repair of structures which may be in the presence of high humidity
