The volume presents the results of the first study and catalogation of the collection of Japanese colour woodblock prints at the National Art Museum of Moldova. The works have been divided thematically. The most part of the works have been recomposed and presented here correctly as dypthics and tryptics for the first time. And a special section has been dedicated to the many prints of the precious series of Yoshitoshi's "One hundred views of the moon" part of the collection and here presented in their whole for the first time
