A Contextual Bible Study on the Crucifixion of Jesus: Engaging the issue of male violence against men

A bible study resource card with the text for Matthew 27:26-31 in isiZulu, Sesotho, and English, is available at http://hdl.handle.net/10523/10233.In collaboration with David Tombs (and the Centre for Theology and Public Issues, University of Otago) the Ujamaa Centre facilitated a workshop (5 June 2019), following the public lecture 'The stripping of Jesus: sexual violence hidden in plain sight' by David Tombs (4 June 2019). The workshop began work on developing a Contextual Bible Study (CBS) in which the issue of (heterosexual) male violence against men was engaged. A first version of the CBS was shared in September 2019 and this revised version was produced in November 2019
