27 p.[EN] This article analyzes the situation of Americanism in Spain on the eve of the Civil War. This latter violently broke the scientific community which was then in boon, as it is shown by the Chairs, Centers, Institutes and Seminars created during the years of the Second Republic. The Governments' aim at fostering relations with Latin America encouraged the exchange of professors and fellows, the celebration of gatherings on both sides of the Atlantic, and the publication of book collections and specialized reviews. Our study is centered on the Madrid and Sevilla foundations which became the most active centers of the Spanish Americanism.
