A construal is put forward to the effect that things are taken to include relations -- if there are any --, while a state of affairs is a combination of things through a linkage or combination way. Combination ways are the structures of respective states of affairs -- or situations --, one for each situation. This ontology is flawed by its failing to give a real account of what constitutes a relational fact -- some kind of Bradleyian infinite regress being thus triggered.
