The sensor electrode was based on the immobilization of anti-ciprofloxacin antibodies by chemical binding onto a poly(pyrrole-NHS) film electrogenerated on a solid gold substrate. The electrode surface was modified by electropolymerization of pyrrole-NHS, antibody grafting and ciprofloxacin immunoreaction.
