What is the Islamic City? Can we define the typical Islamic City? Though B.S Hakim's "Arabic-Islamic Cities: Building and Planning Principles" clearly defined the Arabic-Islamic City, but that definition is useful for another regions of Islamic world. This article is just memorandum to discuss the characteristics of so called Islamic City focusing on Indo-Islamic cities
