The Schooner the "Elsie M. Hart" set sail from Trinity Bay on the eighteenth of November. Captain March commanded the ship and Stephen Pelly was second hand; there were four men in the crew. They encountered snow and bad weather and headed for Plate Cove. They ran ashore at 2 a.m. but landed safe at Arrow Point. Next morning they arrived at Plate Cove, whose people rushed to help them.Composed by informant's father, Mick Keough
