Caught in a storm, the "Annie" hope the "Senlac" will reach her and help her to shore. It doesn't work. The dory is washed away and a man is pulled back from the sea. Later, the "Monaduck" bound for London comes across the bedraggled "Annie" and rescues the crew. The "Annie" is set afire. The "Cabot" takes the crew from the "Monaduck" and delivers them to land.See Morgiana Halley, "Marine Disasters in Newfoundland Folk Balladry . . .", M.A. Thesis, p. 320
