Host John Doyle presents examples of films about St. John's, Newfoundland. Included are: Michael Jones's film "Morning"(1977); "St. John's Film" made in the 1970's, with short interviews with various people in the city; a film by photographer Justin Hall entitled "On Rooftops"; a section of the film "East End Story" featuring the downtown war memorial and a ballad by Ron Hynes; "You know you're downtown" about the police officer who directs traffic on Prescott Street; and a short vignette, "The Hotel", documenting the demolition of the old Hotel Newfoundland and its reconstruction.Fuller credits at the end
