Upper Island Cove Root Cellar 8, shed exterior

Root cellar built into the side of a hill in Upper Island Cove owned by Harold Mercer (1921-1986). Harold Mercer used to store potatoes, carrot, turnip and cabbage that he grew and sold to family and other residents of Upper Island Cove and surrounding communities. It is no longer maintained and is beginning to collapse
