Abstract The inclined plane has been found an excitingly physical device in search for the truth. It seems unbelievable that something interesting can be still said about the Newtonian gravity and movement of the bodies pushed up on a ramp. However, we show that it does not have to be the case, when you are looking from the right perspective from the above, in particular. In the present paper we would like to describe the very basic idea of the physics as an experimental science. We build two 'theories' predicting two different results of the experiment.
