ABSTRACT Two types of experiments with respect to a liquid meniscus bridge were performed; i) force curve measurements, ii) resonance curve measurements. The contact angle of a liquid (n-tetradecane) to a solid (glass) was controlled by concentration of an oil repellent which was coated on the glass surface by dipping method. Effects of the contact angle on the static and dynamic characteristics of a liquid meniscus bridge were clarified
