COLUMNEA BIVALVIS (GESNERIACEAE), A NEW SPECIES FROM THE EASTERN SLOPES OF THE ECUADORIAN ANDES

abstraCt Recent field expeditions to the eastern slopes of the Ecuadorian Andes and revisionary work on Columnea (Gesneriaceae) section Collandra have resulted in the discovery of a new plant species.
