Abstract-The paper presents the analytical solution to a hydraulic fracture driven by a non-Newtonian fluid and propagating under plane strain conditions in cross sections parallel to the fracture front. Conclusions are drawn on the influence of fluid properties on the fracture propagation. Key words: hydraulic fracture, non-Newtonian fluid, particle velocity, analytical solution. INTRODUCTION The hydrofracturing is the well-established process widely used for improving oil and gas well productive performance. Being of the high practical value, the process was the study subject of a good deal of publications, starting from Khristianovich and Zhelto
