Research on output regulation for saturated systems

Abstract In this paper, the output regulation problem is investigated, which consists of building a controller to asymptotically steer the output of a saturated linear systems to a given reference signal despite external disturbances. Particularly, for saturated systems subject to periodically time-dependent exosytem, a K-step asymptotically regulatable region was characterized by a set of all the initial states of the plant and the exosytem. Improved internal model principles were constructed on the balance between the state convergence rate and the control of all the initial state. Finally, a state feedback controller was designed to ensure exponential output regulation in the regulatable region with disturbance rejection.
