ABSTRACT: Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) is one of the most important vegetable crops and a genetic model for improving other dicotyledonous crop plants. Agrobacterium mediated gene transformation method is considered as an effective method for transferring foreign genes into plants. cefotaxime, commonly used for elimination of Agrobacterium tumefaciens during plant transformation.
