Abstract: Intelligent assistive devices have the potential of offering innovative solutions for the disabled and for the new generation of senior citizens. ‘e-Tools’ stands for Embedded Tools, as we aim to embed intelligent assistive devices in homes and other facilities, creating ambient intelligence environments to give support to patients and caregivers.
