«Матриархат» и «патриархат» как два типа ментальности

Among many evolutionistic theories, one can methodologically distinguish two directions that declare diametrically opposite views. Representatives of the first direction believe that matter is inherent in self-organization and development. Others, on the contrary, believe that matter is characterized by chaos. And evolution is the result of the intervention of some external regulator in the natural state of things.These two directions have worldview prototypes and correspond to two archetypes — “matriarchal” and “patriarchal”. They are manifested in the starting point of any development – birth. The “mother” as the giving birth substance is always obvious; the “father” is not. In unobvious cases it is generally the subject of thought and belief. Therefore, “matriarchy” as a worldview is based on an empirical perception of the world, while “patriarchy” asserts the primacy of the non-obvious over the obvious.These two archetypes can be traced in Greek mythology. In chthonic myths, the main character is the Great mother, who creates everything. Myths of the heroic age tell tales of Zeus, who, after defeating the titans, organized the Olympic order out of the world's chaos. Myths of the heroic age reflect the key role of men in the birth of children. And in their limit, they emphasize the crucial importance of a certain conditional “father" in the birth of any material order.Other “patriarchal” proclamations were made by Greek philosophy and Christianity. The former presented a number of intelligible categories that do not lend themselves to sensory perception and control matter. The latter came up with the formula “Abraham begat Isaac, Isaac begat Jacob”, which became a declaration of an unobvious truth: conception is more important than birth.The revenge of the “matriarchal” worldview emerged during the Renaissance and continued during the Modern period. New European science, armed with the method of mathematical modeling of physical processes, banished teleologism from its reasoning, taking the path of positivism. The purpose and meaning as organizing, conditionally “fatherly” beginnings were no longer taken into account. There were only causes left — certain material factors and patterns that organize matter into certain combinations. On the basis of the “matriarchal” archetype, a modern scientific picture of the world emerged, in which the existence of an empirically non-fixed, intelligible substance that controls matter does not fit. It is possible that a new scientific revolution will take place in this direction, and we will learn that the Universe has not only a “mother”, but also a “father”.Среди множества эволюционистских теорий методологически можно выделить два направления, декларирующих диаметрально противоположные взгляды. Представители первого направления полагают, что материи присущи самоорганизация и развитие. Другие, напротив, считают, что материи свойственен хаос, а эволюция есть результат вмешательства некоего внешнего регулятора в естественное положение вещей.Эти два направления имеют мировоззренческие прототипы и соответствуют двум архетипам: первый — «матриархальному», второй — «патриархальному». Они проявляются в отправном моменте любого развития — рождении. «Мать» как рождающая субстанция всегда очевидна, «отец» — не всегда. В неочевидных случаях он является в основном предметом мышления и веры. Поэтому «матриархат» как мировоззрение базируется на эмпирическом восприятии мира, «патриархат» же утверждает главенство «неочевидного» над «очевидным». Эти два архетипа прослеживаются в греческой мифологии. В хтонических мифах главное действующее лицо — «великая мать», которая все порождает. Мифы героической эпохи рассказывают о Зевсе, который, победив титанов, организовал из мирового хаоса олимпийский порядок. Мифы героической эпохи отражают ключевую роль мужчины в рождении детей, а в своем пределе подчеркивают важнейшее значение некоего условного «отца» в зарождении любого материального порядка.Со своими «патриархальными» манифестами выступили греческая философия и христианство. Первая представила ряд умопостигаемых категорий, не поддающихся чувственному восприятию и управляющих материей. Второе выступило с формулой «Авраам родил Исаака, Исаак родил Иакова», которая стала декларацией неочевидной истины: зачатие важнее рождения.Реванш «матриархальной» ментальности наметился в эпоху Возрождения и продолжился в Новое время. Новоевропейская наука, вооружившись методом математического моделирования физических процессов, изгнала из своих рассуждений телеологизм, встав на путь позитивизма. Цель и смысл как организующие, условно «отцовские» начала больше не учитывались. Остались лишь причины — некие материальные факторы и закономерности, которые и организовывают материю в те или иные комбинации. На фундаменте «матриархального» архетипа возникла современная научная картина мира, в которую не вписывается существование эмпирически не фиксируемой, умопостигаемой субстанции, управляющей материей. Не исключено, что новая научная революция произойдет именно в этом направлении, и мы узнаем, что у Вселенной есть не только «мать», но и «отец»
