Architektura, której integralną częścią jest zieleń

In the article, there is shown nowadays one of the most popular directions in designing, which is architecture integral with environment. Long tradition of connecting the building with vegetation reaches III millennium and was used widely in Babylon as a terrace gardens in temples. Tradition is not the unique reason to introduce vegetation to a building, there are several other advantages for environment, people and for the city. Examples of buildings featured in the article are about to show multitude of designing ‘green architecture’.W artykule przedstawiono jeden z coraz popularniejszych kierunków projektowania szeroko rozumianej architektury zintegrowanej z zielenią. Długa tradycja łączenia budynku z zielenią sięga aż III tysiąclecia i dotyczy ogrodów tarasowych, świątynnych w Babilonii. Za wprowadzaniem zieleni do budynku przemawia nie tylko tradycja, lecz również mnogość zalet zarówno dla obiektu, środowiska, jak i dla ludzi oraz miasta. Przykłady zamieszczone w artykule mają pokazać wielokierunkowość projektowania ‘architektury zielonej’
