This book contains seven numbers from the Church in the Colonies series bound together, all dealing with Church of England (Anglican Church) in Newfoundland in the 1840s-50s. Six of the works recount visitations made by Bishop Edward Feild (bishop 1844-76) to various parts of the island; the seventh is a collection of letters from priests involved in the Labrador mission.
