Bu çalışmada Olea europaea var. europaea bitkisi araştırma materyali olarak seçilmiştir. Bu taksonun yaprak infüzyonu antioksidan etki açısından TEAK (Trolox Eşdeğerli Antioksidan Kapasite), DPPH' radikal toplama (DPPH-RT) ve fosfomolibden kompleks indirgeme (FKİ) yöntemleri kullanılarak incelenmiştir. İnfüzyon, standart olarak kullanılan butillenmiş hidroksitoluen (BHT) ile kıyaslandığında anlamlı derecede antioksidan etki göstermiştir.Olea europaea var. europaea was chosen as experimental material in this study.
