Çalışmanın amacı, kalp yetersizliği tanısı olan hastaların hastaneye tekrarlı yatış sıklığını ve nedenlerini incelemektir. İki üniversite hastanesinin, kardiyoloji kliniğinde yürütülen araştırmanın örneklemini 137 hasta oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında, hasta tanıtım formu, Birden Çok Hastalığa Sahip Olma İndeksi (Komorbidite İndeksi) ve Katz’ın Günlük Yaşam Aktiviteleri İndeksi kullanılmıştır. Veriler ki kare testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir.
