And, to support this, nationally accepted guidelines are urgently needed to ensure production and supply of QPM. The guidelines presented here are focussed for Multi-Purpose Tree Species (MPTS), planted or tended by farmers and exempted from felling and transit regime by the state governments for promotion under agroforestry in different agro-ecological regions of the country. The MPTS include species of Acacia, Albizia, Bamboo, Casuarina, Eucalyptus, Grewia, Melia, Dalbergia, Populus, Prosopis, Salix, Terminalia and Ailanthus excels...
